I don't know about you guys, but Monday's and Thursday's are really big days around here. Why? Those are our garbage days and Sam loves the garbage truck. He will sit and watch it go up and down our street and runs to the door as soon as he hears it. My friend Amy said one of the best gifts given to her son Thomas was a garbage truck- he still loves it at almost 4 years old. I found one today at Target that looks exactly like the one that picks up our trash. Sam has played with is non-stop since I brought it home. I think he likes it almost as much as his fire truck!

Pa Pa and Mum Mum
We met my parents to eat at Houston's for Easter this morning. It is a beautiful day here today so afterwards we went out back and let Sam run around and explore. The restaurant is on a lake and Sam was mesmerized by the boats. Not too many ducks- which was a disappointment to Sam. He did spot one bird:)Here are a few pictures of Sam with Pa Pa and Mum Mum. My mom is so excited because Sam FINALLY has a name for her!
Thanks Aunt Wendy for my cool shirt!

Still Getting Ready for Baby!
My parents came over today (again) to help us prepare the house for the new baby. Russ and Pa Pa took Sam down to the park to feed the birds and ducks- probably one of Sams' top 5 things to do! As you can see from the pictures he got right in the middle of the action. My mom and I stayed back and worked on organizing some closets and moving Russ' clothes to the new armoire we bought for him. We had a great day and got a lot of work done. I guess if you asked my mom she would say she got a lot of work done- I just sat on the bed to supervise. I am 33 weeks pregnant today- 7 weeks to go. I am feeling great and my really bad back pain has almost disappeared:)

Helping Mom
Taller
I was just saying to my good friend Amy that Sam was starting to take on a different look. Lean...taller. She knew exactly what I was talking about. She remembers seeing the change in her son Thomas. I blinked and the next thing I knew the baby fat was gone. My baby has been replaced with a boy. A running, climbing, outdoor loving boy.
But still a mama's boy.
We took this picture yesterday which I think captures the change I see.
His face looks strained because he is trying to get the camera from Russ' mother. Russ' parents were in town over the weekend. She had the strap... it was tug of war between them. He didn't win.
